Privacy Policy

IQ:mux is built by LND Group Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights. It is written to be read, not survived.

02 — WHAT WE COLLECT

What we collect

Account information

When you sign up we collect your name, email address, ABN, and business details. This is what creates your account.

Waitlist information

If you join the waitlist before signing up, we collect your first name, email address, and country. Country is detected automatically from your IP address. We use this only to notify you when IQ:mux launches in your region and to offer you founders pricing.

Usage data

We collect information about how you use IQ:mux — which features you use, how often, and any errors that occur. This helps us fix bugs and improve the product.

Device and location

The mobile app collects your device type and, with your permission, your location. Location is used for job context (knowing which site you are on) and for compliance records that require GPS coordinates at sign-off.

Communications

If you connect your Gmail, SMS, or WhatsApp through IQ:mux, message content is processed to help Mux understand and respond. We do not store your communications on our servers — they remain in your Google Workspace.

AI conversation logs

Your conversations with Mux are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. These conversations are not stored by Anthropic for training purposes under our enterprise agreement. We retain a summary of AI interactions for support and debugging purposes only.

03 — YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS

Your data stays yours

IQ:mux uses a Bring Your Own Infrastructure model. Your operational data — jobs, documents, photos, communications — lives in your own Google Workspace account. IQ:mux never stores your operational data on our servers.

What we do store: connection metadata, OAuth tokens (encrypted), billing information, and account settings.

04 — WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH

Who we share data with

We share data with the following services to operate the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. Ever.

  • Anthropic (AI processing)Your Mux conversations are processed by Claude. Anthropic does not use your data for model training under our agreement.
  • Twilio (communications)SMS, WhatsApp, and voice calls are routed through Twilio. Message metadata is processed but content is not stored by Twilio beyond delivery.
  • Stripe (payments)Billing and subscription management. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.
  • Google (Workspace, Maps, OAuth)If you connect Google Workspace, your data flows through Google's infrastructure under your own Google account.
  • Supabase (database)Connection metadata, tokens, and account data are stored in Supabase's Australian data centre.

05 — HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

How long we keep your data

  • Active account — we retain your data for as long as your account is active.
  • Cancelled account — we retain your data for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently delete it. You can request an export before deletion.
  • Waitlist — we retain waitlist entries until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Backups — encrypted backups are retained for 90 days then deleted.

06 — SECURITY

Security

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage. The mobile app uses biometric lock and encrypted local storage.

We undergo regular security testing and maintain cyber liability insurance. We will notify you within 72 hours of any breach that affects your personal data.

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, report it to privacy@iqmux.com.

07 — YOUR RIGHTS

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

08 — COOKIES

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — session management and security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. You cannot opt out of essential cookies as they are required for the service to work.

09 — CHILDREN

Children

IQ:mux is a business platform. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at privacy@iqmux.com.

10 — CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Changes to this policy

We will notify you by email of any material changes to this policy at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of IQ:mux after that date constitutes acceptance.

11 — GOVERNING LAW

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
